Meet the owner and creator
of Sip 'n' Stain
My name is Brenda Massey, I am a born and raised Texan and the proud owner and creator of Sip 'n' Stain. I get asked all the time by our customers how I got into this business. I tell everyone that I am a breast cancer survivor and ever since my diagnosis I have wanted to do something different with my life but wasn't sure what it was.
When I discovered paint and sip workshops where you can make your own personalized wood sign, I was hooked. It is such a great concept. Unlike other paint and sip places these wood signs are something you will actually hang up or give as a gift. So I created Sip 'n' Stain with a ton of help from many friends and family! I stepped out on faith and quit my job with Leander ISD after 12 years to open Sip 'n' Stain. It has been a wonderful journey and a huge blessing. We opened in Leander on November 8, 2016 and after a whirlwind journey we are excited to be able to open a second location On the Square in Georgetown! We hope to have many more across our great state of Texas!
We are very proud to be an Eco-Friendly business. Being a cancer survivor I want to make sure we have no harmful fumes or toxins in our workshops.
My husband is Darin Massey and without him I could never have done this. We
are residents of Leander and he owns his own business as well in Leander, Austin Cedar Park Clear Bra. He applies paint protection film and Opticoat to cars.
I have made so many friends and met so many wonderful people since I have opened. I wanted Sip 'n' Stain to be a cozy place where customers felt comfortable and at home and I think we have done a good job creating that atmosphere. My staff are a HUGE part of that. I am very thankful for them.
I look forward to getting to know the residents of Georgetown and the surrounding towns. See you On the Square!
